What’s in the Next Chapter

We’ll get into the nitty-gritty of what constitutes a complete diet. This subject was so nerve-racking for me because I wasn’t used to trusting myself to put together a nutritionally complete meal for our beloved fur kids. I can’t wait to pick this fear apart together with you! See you in the next chapter.

Tidus’s Severe Skin Issues Update

In the video, we shared the amazing benefits of switching the Husky Squad to a raw diet. As I write this chapter, I’m so happy to tell you that the severe skin problems that Tidus started having in his big breakout during antibiotics all finally went away! It took approximately 15 months for him to heal.

No traditional veterinarian was able to resolve the problem. The only methods they offered were allergy medication and steroids to try to mask the symptoms. We went through various tests which all came back negative.

Our holistic vet started Tidus on a raw diet combined with Chinese medicine and various herbal blends, and ultimately explained that it is a patience game. We needed time for Tidus to heal from eating processed kibble and synthetic supplementation.

It took a while, but finally the time came. Tidus shed both of his coats, with lots of senior white fur. He grew back both coats darker, denser, and so much healthier. All his skin issues are finally gone. We’re speechless.
